Your Starknet wallet has two sections: Public for assets held at its onchain address, and Private for supported assets held in the privacy pool. They are different balances. Having public USDC does not mean you have private USDC, or the other way around.

Move between balances

Use the wallet’s Send button and choose the source and destination: Chat works too:
Move 10 USDC from my public balance to my private balance.

Swap

Both AVNU and Ekubo support public and private swaps through Chance. The chosen balance determines where the swap starts and where the result returns.

First use

The wallet may need activation before its first transaction. Chance prepares this where supported. The actual route determines whether activation or network fees are sponsored; private relay fees are quoted separately. To arrive privately from another chain, use the USDC privacy bridge. It does not first credit your regular public Starknet balance.
